FOSTER CITY CA, JULY 2024 – Bay Area Executive Coach (BAEC), well-known for championing emotional intelligence in the leadership space, also offers expert coaching and training in the complementary practice of Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ).
To strengthen this aspect of his coaching practice, BAEC executive coach and principal Michael Neuendorff recently completed a five-week immersion program on C-IQ fundamentals. Designed for certified coaches seeking to refresh and reinforce their understanding of C-IQ concepts and skills, the program complements Neuendorff’s C-IQ certification that he received in 2018 from the prestigious CreatingWE Institute, a recognized leader in C-IQ training and advocacy.
“This immersion program was a great opportunity for me to not only re-connect with people at the CreatingWE Institute, but to get together with other executive coaches who share my commitment to C-IQ in the workplace,” commented Neuendorff. “C-IQ is often a part of my coaching engagements. So, it’s good to get refreshed on the material since it’s so vital to the work that I do.”
Conversational Intelligence is a discipline rooted in neuroscience. It’s defined as the ability to understand, create, and sustain trust through conversation. With a clear understanding of what trust is and how to create it, leaders can elevate the quality of their conversations and business interactions, which in turn positively affects their lives overall.
“Communication is a huge part of leadership, so bringing Conversational Intelligence into the mix, especially when working with a client on communications issues, is highly beneficial,” added Neuendorff. “I’ve even had clients ask for it by name: ‘I want to work with you on Conversational Intelligence.’”
Numerous resources and support exist online for leaders and teams interested in developing their C-IQ skills. Interested persons should view this video on Conversational Intelligence as well as consider scheduling a meeting time through the BAEC calendar or complete the contact form to explore coaching or training opportunities.
